In a small saucepan, combine 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard, 2 cloves garlic, minced, ¼ tsp dried thyme, and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Season lightly with Salt and black pepper.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add 1 tbsp unsalted butter and 1 tbsp olive oil. Remove from heat and stir until the butter has melted.
